What faces two streets, has seven different addresses, sports a huge tower, includes a pair of frogs on its façade? Laurel Terrace, of course! In this presentation, we’ll look at the building that architectural historian Larry Millett called “one of the finest Victorian row houses in the United States.” Designed by William Willcox and Clarence Johnston, the residence was built in 1887 for its neighbor William Riley, and it remains one of the most stunning structures in the area.
