One particularly interesting way to learn about Twin Cities history and architecture is to visit significant sites and areas in person. I have many years of experience teaching a popular tour-based course at Augsburg University, where class sessions are held at important locations around the Twin Cities, bringing students face to face with the places they study.
I lead a number of tours for local organizations, including Rethos: Places Reimainged. Please check my Events page for information about upcoming tours and classes sponsored by community groups and organizations.
I'm happy to organize tours for your group, either in a bus/van, on public transportation, or on foot. See below for some options.

Logistics for bus tours
You arrange for transportation for your group, and you assume all insurance and liability requirements.
You arrange for any food or hospitality. Some groups start their day with coffee and treats, while others bring refreshments and snacks to enjoy during the tour. If the tour is long enough to include a lunch break, we can build a restaurant stop into the itinerary.
I will provide an itinerary, schedule, and detailed route for the bus driver.
I will meet you at your location, or meet you at the first tour stop.
Transit Tours
Using the light rail or bus rapid transit systems, these tours visit many interesting areas in the Twin Cities.
