St. Anthony Park Tour: Historic Manufacturing District 2

Still used as an industrial area today, the old manufacturing district near Raymond and Hampden was an original part of the 1885 plans for St. Anthony Park. Companies were attracted to the area because of its excellent railroad connections, and we can still see some tracks running through this “suburban manufacturing park,” as it was originally called. Although many of the historic buildings are lost, a surprising number of structures from the late 19th century and early 20th century still stand in this area.
