The Minneapolis Club occupied three different spaces in their first three decades. As the 20th century began, they hoped to build a clubhouse that would finally suit the varied needs of their membership. Although facing challenges in fundraising and design, they ultimately succeeded, erecting in quick succession the buildings that still serve the club today, over a century later. In this presentation, we’ll explore the early buildings and final success in creating a clubhouse of “striking beauty and real comfort.”
